About the Program

The projects are based on the beautiful island of Palawan, in Tigman Village, south of Puerto Princesa City.

The island province of Palawan has recently become a popular tourist destination in the Philippines. Popular tourist destinations include El Nido, Coron, and Puerto Princesa. The province boasts more than 50 beaches, three major marine habitats, and five types of forests.

You can start every Monday, and you can join from 2 weeks up to 8 weeks.

On the Monday of your first week, there is an orientation by your coordinator, so you can get comfortable with the surroundings as well as the local culture.

Arrival

You need to arrive at Puerto Princesa International Airport on Sunday between 10:00 – 17:00.

You will be picked up by the local team and transferred to your accommodation to meet the other international volunteers.

We will provide you with full arrival and contact details when you book your program.

Accommodation & Meals

The accommodation is in shared rooms with other volunteers. Throughout the journey, you will be accommodated in single-gender dorm-style rooms.

Your meals are included during your program. There are 3 meals included per day from Monday to Friday, and 2 meals per day on weekends.

Glory is the country manager for our programs in The Philippines. She is very well educated and she is a local, so she knows the area very well. She has been running the programs together with her team for many years.
